Shani's Home

this is some \"i'm-bored-i'm-gonna-work-on-some-totally-unnecessary-reference-for-my-story-cuz-i'm-anal-like-that\" bizness.

it's for a story that so far i'm calling 'Guru', cuz i haven't decided on the real title yet. this is the main character's, Shani's, home where she lives with her widowed mother. they live a couple dozen miles outside of town (Akana), where they go to sell their herbs and plants and crafts. They grow rare herbs used for healing. Ever since her father died Shani has had to fill his roll as merchant of their wares in Akana. she even has a little shop there and everything. That's where her life changes forever. (melodrama!)

Anyhoo, that right there is sorta of the exposition of the story... don't wanna be givin away all the secrets, but let's just say that a mysterious young man comes to her for help in a fight between Life and Death... for the Human Race.
